The app guides in-service health workers in patient assessment, classification, and treatment using IMNCI and CDC guidelines for children under 5, with real-time analytics on disease trends, care quality and resource needs.
The design centered on simplicity and clarity, ensuring the app could be easily interpreted by in-service healthcare workers with varying levels of digital familiarity. A persistent design goal was to reduce cognitive load: minimal steps, intuitive flow, and icon-driven guidance. The app also built a real-time clinical database, capturing assessments and treatments while enabling trend analysis.
